I feared that anything could happen

The first time I ever went to Kumasi was when I was admitted for my undergraduate studies.

I arrived there at almost 4:00 am with my friend, Edudzi.

I don’t know about my friend but I was quite nervous.

Here we were, two first-timers, arriving at an odd hour in an unknown land.

I feared that anything could happen, although we believed God heard our prayers for divine protection.

After we alighted from our bus, we spotted a taxi not too far away. It was the only one in sight. A man emerged from it and walked towards us to inquire where we were going.

It turned out, he was a deacon in the church both Edudzi and I attended. He was nice and took us straight to where we were going.

The Lesson

The driver was up at 4:00 am looking for passengers. We also arrived at 4:00 am looking for a driver.

Usually, in life, the things we are looking for are also looking for us.

There is a place in the world for your talent and dreams to fit in.

That beautiful idea you want to implement already has so many people waiting to be blessed by it.

If you’re realistic with your expectations, the exact kind of person you’re looking to marry or date is also the kind on the lookout for you.

The only challenge is for us to position ourselves at the right places. Other drivers could have picked us too but they were not positioned at the right place at that time.
