On one round in a “trotro”, I was able to secure my favorite front seat at the side of the door. This gave me the chance to catch the full glimpse of an interesting occurrence near a police station.
Apparently there was a misunderstanding between a very stout man and a slender looking police lady. And interestingly, this man was almost beseeching her on bended knees to be allowed to pass with his bicycle.
The display sent me wondering how on earth this was possible, regarding the contrast in statures. I realized it is not just because she was a police officer; very importantly also, she was in the uniform.
Otherwise, he could have easily ignored her orders and forced his way through with an excuse that he wasn’t in the know that she was a policewoman.
A mere putting on of a worker’s uniform has immense effects on whoever meets them. It gives a bold indication of their status in society and sends an instruction as to how to approach them.
Similarly, evil spirits and satanic powers know they are meant to submit to the orders of the believer. But they will do so more especially, when the believer is in the uniform.
Every portion of this attire is clearly spelt out in Ephesians 6:12-18; “breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit (the Word of God), …”
Always be in your uniform. Let the Spirit World know you are not only in the faith, but are regularly “on duty” as a believer. The rights we possess in Christ as Christians and the authority we have over the devil will be fully ascribed to us, when we always appear in the uniform.
