Many times in life, we come to the crossroads, where our thoughts offer us dicey options to choose from.

Inasmuch as we need to choose carefully, we must be watchful not to postpone the decision for the next moment. Delaying in making a choice actually means settling on the most negative option.

Life has the natural tendency to carry you along to undesirable outputs if you do not stand your grounds firmly and choose which direction you should move.

That explains why you do not need to put in any effort in order to fail, become poor, lazy, dumb, or backslidden. Life will willingly deliver them at your doorstep, once you stop exerting efforts to pray, learn, read, and work.

Take for instance, that you have two important meetings at 7:00 am, and you wake up, confused and pondering over which one to attend. You’ll realize that delaying in choosing one option, actually draws you closer to missing both.

The thing is, becoming what you really want to do requires conscious and premeditated actions and strategies. And so failing to make a choice in time will move you quickly to the position where you cannot achieve them.

Have you heard of someone who was undecided when to start a music career, but ended up never starting? Or the guy who didn’t really decide whether to continue his education or not, and ended up at that level for good?

They never really chose not to make those accomplishments. They only had to delay in deciding to, for life to bring it to them.

From whatever ambitions you have, to the least action you want to take today, you need to decide now, and start working them out.

You can choose to postpone this for a later time, but know that you will risk never accomplishing that dream or that plan.

I was disappointed in myself

Of all the world cups that have ever been played, Brazil 2014 was the one I followed the most. I watched most of the matches.
